“Mother’s Day”

Posted: March 18, 2012 in Prose

Mother’s Day

She is the life of every heart beat,

the source of comfort, warmth, and love,

She has the patience of a Saint,

she’s like an Angel from above,

She comes in all shapes and sizes,

in every Hue, that’s ever been,

She’s the ‘patcher upperer’, of cuts and scrapes,

she’s the jelly and ice cream.

Your’s may be younger, or older,

or have a difference of some kind,

And yet the similarities in all of them,

is a universal bind,

Whatever the situation,

they seem to always know what to say,

So, thanks to all you great women out there,

Enjoy your Mother’s Day!
